The ESACT Organization

The society is headed by the Executive Committee (XC), consisting of 9 members, namely the four officers, four additional elected members, and the organizer of the next ESACT Meeting appointed by the Executive Committee.  The elected members and officers (Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary) represent the society. Elected members serve on the XC for a term of 2 years after which they can stand for election again. An officer can serve in their role for a maximum of 2 terms of 2 years.

Ordinary members are elected by the ESACT members every two years at the ESACT meeting. The outcome is announced during the General Assembly at the Meeting. In the case of a tie, the number of elected members on the XC is increased to 5 for that XC period. Additionally, the Society has administrative support from the ESACT Office. 

The early career scientists and researchers of the society are represented by the ESACT Frontiers Group (EFP).
