We actively support career progression

The main goal of the society is to enable communication between scientists in the field of animal cell technology. We believe knowledge transfer and communication is most effective via direct face-to-face interaction.

Meetings, courses and ESACT programs 

The society organizes biennial ESACT meetings with up to 1.000 participants, intensive theoretical and practical courses with up to 30 participants each and ESACT Frontiers Retreats with up to 100 participants. 

Furthermore, ESACT promotes exchanges with other related societies such as ESACT-UK, BELSACT, JAACT and SLATCC, by sponsoring travel expenses for speakers at their events or courses. Attendance at other related meetings, courses or laboratory exchange projects are supported by ESACT Grants
